Today's WNBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Indiana at Connecticut (3:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 5 units on Connecticut -4.5 (-120) (risk 5 to win 4.2)

Connecticut is just 4-12 on the road, but don't mess with this team at home. Here at home they are 11-5. That's the reason they are favored over Indiana. Home favorites coming off a double-digit loss have hit at a 72% ATS clip this season which is another good reason to really like the Sun in this game (they lost to Atlanta last game by 24 points). I look for Connecticut to come out with a lot of passion and energy here and get the win and cover.

New York has owned the Mystics, having gone 8-2 ATS the past three seasons in this series and 17-7 ATS lifetime here at home (4-1 ATS the past three seasons). Washington is just 5-11 on the road this season, allowing over 80 points per game. Certain home favorites coming off back-to-back losses vs. a team off a win have been spectacular this season (10-0 ATS) and New York fits this system today. I like the Liberty to get the win and cover.

While posting a 9-8 record at home, Minnesota is just 5-10 on the road where they allow a ridiculous 84.1 points per game. The Lynx are 16-29 ATS the past three seasons when playing a losing team, including 1-8 ATS on the road vs. a team at .400 or worse! On the road in the late season (Aug-Sep) they are 2-11 ATS the past three seasons. Sacramento is 32-19 ATS the past three seasons after back-to-back poor defensive efforts (having allowed 75+ points in each game). I like the Monarchs to roll here.
