Wnba Betting Predictions - September 12, 2008

We had a great day on the WNBA hardwood as we nailed both of our plays including a hit on our 5-unit pick. Yesterday's win grabbed us +7.3 units and boosted our week-long run to 9-2 (82%) for +18 units. One WNBA premium pick tonight.

Today's WNBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Phoenix at Minnesota (8:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Phoenix -1 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)

The Phoenix Mercury travel to Minnesota to play the Lynx tonight. This game will go a long way to determine who finishes in the basement of the WNBA West as they both enter with identical 15-17 records with two games left to play. The Mercury were glad to see the Olympic break come, as they struggled to a 4-9 mark in their last 13 before the break, and after getting the kinks out on return, they have now won three of four. For Minnesota, it looked like an exciting season when they stormed out to a 5-0 mark, but that was the last hurrah for this team as they have been 10-17 since, dropping four of their last five. They have had trouble defending, which plays right into an offensive-minded Mercury team, so I'll back them in this one.
