 Today's WNBA Basketball Picks: These teams are both coming off of losses last night, and back-to-back games could find the defenses a bit lax here. These are changed teams from a year ago, and those changes find the Mystics going from 69.6 points per game a year ago to 78.8 ppg this season for about a 10-point climb. The Sky has not been able to stop anyone allowing 79.6 ppg, while their offensive production is also up from a year ago. The last two times these teams met at the tail end of last season, the total was set at 145. Here we are in a new season with Washington at 10 ppg better than a year ago, the Sky allowing six more per game with better performance on the offensive end, and the Mystics within a point from last year, but still allowing 76 ppg. This one has been adjusted upward by 2.5 points, and these teams collectively are more offensive, and less defensive than when they met with a total of 145. I’m going with the over here.
