Today's WNBA Basketball Picks:

The Atlanta Dream have certainly come of age, but there is some weakness to what they do, especially on the road. This is a team that relies on four players to do almost all the scoring, and this will be their third game in five days, not exactly a winning formula on the road. The Dream are also killing themselves at the charity stripe, converting just over 66% on the season, and a disgraceful 62.1% on the road. Their strength is rebounding, but the Sky have played the WNBA's top rebounding team at home, and handed them a loss. The Sky is also shooting 47.2% at home, and have already had three games here converting 61 of 64 free throws or 95.3%. That is the difference in this one. They shoot 84% for the year at home, and the free throw line itself will be good for 5-6 points here. The Sky shoots very well here, and all five of their home games have gone OVER the total. The Dream is 4-1 to the OVER on the road. I'll go with Chicago and OVER here.

The Sky are shooting lights-out at home at 47.2%, and from the line here they have been outstanding having three games with over 20 attempts, missing just once in all three of them for 95.3%. The Dream has an Achilles heel - no depth, and horrific free throw shooting, ranking dead last in the league at 66%. Put them on the road, and that WNBA worst number, drops further to 62.1%. The line will be worth 5-6 points to the Sky here, so I'll take them on the moneyline.
