The Atlanta Fear have lived a nightmare through their first 8 games, as they have failed to find the win column, 5 of those have been dropped on their homecourt and 3 of the last 4 by double-digits. The Indiana Fever should thrive here as they play tough defense, allowing just 66ppg. The under also looks good to us for this one. Katie Douglass has averaged 20ppg for the Fever and we like them against the hapless Dream with the Fever defense taking control of this one.

The San Antonio Silver Stars are 4-0 at home for one reason. They have played great defense, holding their opponents to just 63.2ppg. They have also not been shooting the ball well themselves, they are under 40% for the season. Seattle fits a huge trend when the total is in this range, as well rested teams, playing just 2 games in 5 days, that win 60-75% of their games on the season, and playing on the road, have grabbed the money on the under in 29 of 36 games, or almost 81% of the time. We will ride this one to go under the total.

Washington is really struggling right now, they have dropped 5 straight and have yet to break through on the road this season, standing at 0-5. Alana Beard has played well, but the talent level drops fast from there and the bench hasn't contributed enough to keep them in games. They have averaged losing by double-digits over their 5 road games. Chicago has built some momentum off of a slow start and has now won 2 straight, handled the poor teams and struggled vs the good ones. We like them here for a 10+ point win at home. We also like the over here as the last 4 times these teams met, they have averaged 154.5 points a game. Add to that the fact that Washington is 30-12 to the over when it is in the 140s, and 16-5 to the over vs teams that attempt 9 or less 3's a game.

This matchup looks like one that could get up and down the court and produce some points, but the trends show a much different story. Road teams in games with a total of 140+, that outscore their opponent by 6+ a game, after a good scoring game (75 plus), have played under in 72 of 98!!!Under the same situation, if they have scored 70+ in 2 straight, the under is 69-30. If you only consider a road team outscoring their opponent by 6+ a game, then the under is 130-59. Hard to buck the trends here so we will play this one under the posted total.
