Today's WNBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Sacramento at Washington (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Game Total UNDER 142.5 -110 (risk 2 to win 1.8)

Sacramento is 23-12 UNDER since last season on the road in games with a total posted at 140 or higher. They are also 34-14 UNDER over that span when coming off a win. The past two seasons Washington is a perfect 8-0 UNDER at home after allowing 75+ points in their last game. They are also 10-0 UNDER at home after an OVER! We'll take the UNDER here.

Atlanta is winless in seven games thus far. This team is giving up an unreal 86.3 ppg (89 per game in division contests). They are averaging just 14 assists to 7 steals! New York is 9-1 ATS the past two seasons vs. teams that average under 8 steals per game. They are also 13-5 ATS over that span following an ATS loss. Atlanta is THAT bad and we'll fade them tonight. We also like the OVER here. Atlanta's defense is so bad that they are 6-1 OVER season to date. Over the past three seasons the Liberty are 23-12 OVER off an ATS loss and 9-1 OVER on the road when well rested (playing less than six games in two week period).

Yes, Seattle is 6-3 while Phoenix is just 2-4. But, we like Phoenix here on the road thanks to their offense. They are pouring in 86.5 per game which is 15 ppg higher than what Seattle averages. Yes, the Phoenix defense is bad, but we believe they can simply outscore the Storm. Seattle has lost three of their last four ATS while Phoenix has won two straight. Phoenix is 23-12 ATS as an underdog the past three seasons including 10-2 ATS as a road dog of 6.5 to 12 points! Mercury here. We are also going to take the OVER in this one given that we think Phoenix is going to control the tempo. The Mercury are 13-4 OVER revenging a loss as a favorite the past three seasons and we see them scoring alot here - enough to push this over.

We also like Phoenix's shot an outright win. Over the past two seasons, the Mercury are 14-9 straight-up, 11-4 vs. division foes and vs. winning teams and 17-3 SU vs. teams that get under 22 free throw attempts per game. Seattle is just 4-11 over that span vs. teams that score 77+ points per game. Finally, Phoenix is 12-5 SU revenging a loss the past two seasons.

Here we get a 7-2 team as an underdog. We'll take it, backing the Shock on the moneyline. The Shock average 76.6 ppg on the road which is enough to keep up with LA, especially given the Sparks' porous defense. Detroit is 36-17 straight-up vs. winning teams the past three seasons. They are 8-2 vs. teams that hold opponents under 40% shooting as well. Over the past two seasons the Shock are 12-5 on the road vs. great offensive teams (those averaging 73+ ppg). Meanwhile, LA is just 10-21 vs. teams that are at .750+ over the past decade. They have also lost 10 of their last 12 games vs. teams that average over 76 points per game.
