Today's WNBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Los Angeles at New York (7:30 PM Eastern)

The LA Sparks have started to play better or have they? They were 1-10 on the road until winning each of their last two. They beat a struggling Connecticut team which was 8-3 out of the gate but are just 5-7 since and a Minnesota team on their second five game losing streak of the season. They face a New York team that is on the improve after a 4-7 start they have rebounded by going 8-4 in their last 12. They also have taken five of their last six vs a losing team. The East is dominating the West to a 31-16 ATS cont on the season, which says New York is the choice here.

The Seattle Storm has stood heads and heels above the rest of the WNBA and will enter this one with a 21-2 mark, which includes a 12-0 mark on their home hardwood. So what is the lure with Chicago here? The ledger looks like this for the Storm. They are 11-3-1 ATS vs the lowly West but are just 2-5 ATS vs the East and both their losses came to Eastern Conference teams, included in which is a Sky win. The seven games vs the East show them winning just one time by more than eight points. The Sky is a perfect 5-0 ATS and straight up vs the West. I like Chicago in this one.
