Sometimes a team is under the radar to start the season, only to emerge as a top team in the sport. We saw that in MLB last year with the Tampa Bay Rays, and we are seeing one emerge in the WNBA in the Indiana Fever. The Fever opened 0-2 but have been 11-1 since, and have been under the oddsmakers' radar with a 9-3 ATS mark in their last 12 games. The Fever lost their last game as they shot a season-worst 28%, and yet still managed to make a game of it, falling by just six, so there is a lot of margain for error with this team. The Mystics are an improved team, but still not on the level of the Fever. They have struggled after a straight-up win by dropping their last four ATS after that situation. They haven't taken advantage of their homecourt with a dismal 3-9 ATS mark in their last 12 played in Washington. I'm going with the Fever in this one.

Arguably the two most-improved teams in the league will meet in Washington tonight. The Indiana Fever are coming off their worst offensive game of the season where they shot 28% and I would expect a big bounceback effort on the offennsive end tonight. The biggest reason these teams are much improved has been the dramatic improvements they have made on the offensive end. The Fever and the Mystics were the bottom two teams in points scored per game in the league a year ago. Those horrible numbers have turned into a top five ranking this season for both teams in points scored per game. Washington has now turned in 10 of their last 14 played at home into an OVER, while the Fever, off of a straight up loss, has cashed six of their last seven to the OVER. We have better offenses here woth low total set, so I will back the OVER in this one.
