Free Wnba Picks - July 02, 2008

We are off a bad day but we LOVE tonight's pick and look to pick up a bunch of units on it as we are making it a top-rated 5-unit selection.

Today's WNBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Chicago at Indiana (7:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 5 units on Indiana -7.5 (-110) (risk 5 to win 4.6)

On the surface Indiana looks like a mediocre team at 7-8. They do have a unique characteristic however, as they are the only WNBA team in either conference to have an above .500 record at home where they are .714! Their two home losses were to a 12-6 Detroit team and a 10-6 San Antonio team. The fact is their home schedule has featured playing against .500+ teams in five of the seven and they have beaten three of them. They have had just two games vs sub-.500 teams at home, and won easily in both cases. The record says 7-8, but the situation is much more impressive. Chicago has been unimpressive all season, and now they take to the road for the second of three straight. This is no place for a poor team to get healthy. We love the fact that Indiana is off a double-digit loss as that will focus them here and keep them from getting lax when they get a lead. nd we like the Fever with a comfortable home win here.
