Today's WNBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Detroit at Chicago (6:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Detroit -2.5 (-110) (risk 2 to win 1.8)

Detroit is third in our power rankings while Chicago is second-to-last, above only the lowly Dream. So, this pick shouldn't be much of a surprise as this line is just too low. Yes, on the road the Shock aren't nearly as good as they are at home. But, they are still the better team here. They went through a bad stretch right before the Olympic break, losing four straight. The break couldn't have come at a better time. In their first return to action on Friday, they looked great, beating New York by 14 points. This team is 19-9 ATS the past three seasons as a road favorite and 23-8 ATS as a road favorite of 3 or fewer points lifetime. Chicago is 0-7 ATS the past three seasons returning home after two straight road games. We'll back the Shock here for the victory.
