The Phoenix Mercury appeared left for dead after starting 5-11 this season - this coming off a WNBA Championship. The good news is that the West was so weak that the Mercury had time to recover, and finished second. The San Antonio Silver Stars made the playoffs despite winning just 41% of their games. That mark drops to 35% against teams that are in the playoffs. No one wants to play this Phoenix team. The hard part for them was getting here, but they have the talent to certainly go all the way and playing with renewed purpose. They beat San Antonio by 13 points in game one and I look for them to come away with another convincing win in this one as they are now 9-1 ATS vs. the weak Western Conference teams in their last 10.
