Game: Sacramento at Minnesota (8:00 PM Eastern)

A season that started with so much promise for the Lynx has turned disastrous. They have dropped their last six games and nine of their last 10. It hasn't exactly been a picnic for the Monarchs either as they are the only team that has failed to win 10 games in the entire WNBA. So yes the Lynx have struggled, but they’re saying that Sacramento is the better team here? If you consider three as a home-court advantage, then that is the oddsmaker’s logic. When you look at the numbers and see Sacramento owns just nine wins on the season and at the same time have been blown out an equal number of times on the road by 10 or more, with nine big losses. It’s hard to bank on a team that so many times has taken to the road, and was a no-show and the Lynx are playing to revenge a loss to the Monarchs earlier. I am going with Minnesota in this one.

This is another line that is saying without the home-court advantage, New York is the better team here. Chicago is 9-4 at home on the season while New York has won more games on the WNBA season than just one team, Sacramento. You can also be sure that the memory of one of those four losses the Sky has suffered at home to New York will be fresh in mind when they tip-off here tonight. The last five wins this New York team has generated, four of them have been by four points or less, while on the season they have suffered seven losses of nine or more on the road. The Sky are clinging to playoff hopes at just two games back, and have revenge working here That says they win this one, so I'll back Chicago here. The Sky are also right around 80 ppg in their last seven at home, while the first two between these teams scored 147 and 155. This total is too low, so I’m on the OVER in this one as well as on Chicago here.
