The team with the worse record here is favored by five points. And I don't think it's enough. This is a big revenge situation. On June 6, the Mystics strolled in here and laid a 12-point beat down on the Sun, who were favored by 7.5 points. It was an ugly start for the season for Connecticut and they have been looking forward to this shot at redemption all season long. "I think they wanted it more than we did," Sun guard Erin Phillips said after that contest. The Mystics have been outscored on average on the road this season while Connecticut has won their home games by five points per game on average. Washington has covered five of their last six games but that's a bad omen as this team is 9-24 ATS after covering four of their last five games. They are also 2-10 ATS the past two seasons after a win by six or fewer points. And, back to the revenge motif. The Sun are 7-1 ATS this season revenging a loss.

Connecticut has won seven of eight games this season when seeking revenge and this is a game they really want. The Sun get a shot at revenge for their 70-82 loss to Washington earlier this season. The Sun were a huge favorite in that game and got beat down. Now is their chance and they surely should bring it here. The Sun have won six of ten at home while Washington is a losing team on the road. They are also 21-9 straight-up the past three seasons after scoring 75+ in back-to-back games. I like Connecticut to get the win here.

The Sky just can't play on the road. Despite a 8-2 home record, they are just 3-9 away from home, allowing a ridiculous 85.5 points per game. That's over nine points per game more than Detroit allows at home. And, Detroit has the better offense to boot. In road games with a total of 140+ this season, Chicago is 2-9 ATS. They are also coming off a win which is bad given that they are 2-8 ATS this season in that situation. I like Detroit to roll here.
