Today's WNBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Minnesota at Chicago (3:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Chicago -6.5 (-110) (risk 2 to win 1.8)

It may look bad for the Sky here as they have dropped four straight games, but the last five have all been on the road and, when you look at the home resume vs teams similar to Minnesota, things take on a much different look. The Sky has only faced three teams at home all season with a losing record and they have completely dominated all three, winning by no less than 12 and a combined total of 64 points, or better than 20 a game. The Lynx have been plagued by injuries the entire season and have not put their best team on the floor throughout. It has shown. The Lynx own all of three road wins on the season and two of those came against Tulsa. I like Chicago in this one.
Game: Tulsa at Seattle (10:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Tulsa +14.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)
I think Seattle put away the Western Conference so early they have lost their focus and are just waiting for the playoffs to begin. Their lead in the West is not in jeopardy and has been secured for quite sometime. The Tulsa Shock certainly aren't going to get their attention here with their 5-23 record on the season, a WNBA worst. I expect the continued complacent play by Seattle to continue. Tulsa went through a 1-10 ATS period this season but have been much more competitive behind growing point spreads, to play their last ten even at 5-5. This isn't as much about them, than it is Seattle, and I like the Shock to stick inside the number. Tulsa gets the call.

The Chicago Sky could be a playoff team in the West, but they are stuck in a rather stacked and deep Eastern Conference, and a bad 0-4 start to the season really hurt. The Sky have been above the line...

The Fever have held opponents to 71 points per game this season. What's interesting about that is that these teams average 78.6 per game. That means Indiana is shaving nearly 8 points per game off...
