Game: Tampa Bay at Carolina (3:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 5 units on Carolina -135 (moneyline) (risk 5 to win 3.7)

Barry Melrose didn't last long, did he? Will Rick Tocchet be able to help his team snap a three-game skid? I don't think so. The fact remains that the Lightning are last in the NHL in goals scored at 33. Over their last five games they have allowed 3.6 per game. Carolina isn't that great, but they are certainly better than the Lightning right now. Tampa Bay is now just 3-15 on the road against division foes dating back to last season and 19-41 off a loss over the same time period. I like the Hurricane in this one.
