The first three games have each been decided by one goal in this close series. Buffalo took care of business last game winning and taking a 2-1 lead. They lost defensman Henrik Tallinder for the rest of the season with a broken left arm. I think the rest of the team steps up here in his absence as they don't want to let Carolina regain home ice advantage. The Sabres are now 32-15 at home this season. Road underdogs at 60% - 70% on the season coming off a close road loss by 1 goal are just 12-40 (23%) when playing a team with a winning record over the past decade. In a close series, home ice is of key importance. Buffalo here.
