We are coming off a win last night as we were on the Blackhawks who punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup Finals with their 4-2 win over San Jose.

The Philadelphia Flyers have been a hot team since they fell down three games to none in their series vs. the Bruins. They came storming back to win the last four before winning the first two games in this one. Montreal stole one in game three, but the real story here is behind the net for the Flyers. Michael Leighton has been immense since taking over for an injured Brian Boucher. Leighton has recorded three shutouts in the four games in this series, this after coming off the bench cold vs. Boston, shutting the Bruins down for the final 35 minutes of that contest. The Canadiens boast some poor numbers in this spot as they are 8-26 in their last 34 as a road dog from +151 to +200. The Flyers are smokin’ hot at 21-7 in their last 28 on home ice, and close this one out tonight.

All you have to look at is what Michael Leighton has done since taking over for the injured Brian Boucher. He has posted three shutouts in the four games played in this series, and the Canadiens are a very poor 8-26 as a road dog of +151 to +200. That leaves an opening for the Flyers on the puckline here. The Flyers are playing hot right now, with a hot hand behind the net. The Flyers’ six playoffs wins have come by a combined score of 22-4! That certainly poses a valued threat to the puckline here, so I'll go with the Flyers on the puckline.
