We were on the Ducks last game, despite the loss of Pronger. They pulled off the must-win. But today we'll go back on Detroit. Detroit really is playing great hockey. They are even winning on the road which is something they didn't do very well during the regular season. But this game is at home where Detroit is very tough. They are 35-14 now here and 6-2 in the playoffs. Playoff opponents have averaged just 1.6 goals per game against the Red Wings here. They are an incredible 20-5 at home this season vs. good offensive teams like Anaheim (those scoring 2.9+ goals per game). With the series tied, Detroit will bring their "A" game and when they bring that, they are nearly impossible to beat at home. Anaheim may actually let down a bit after winning last game. They may think that if they can do it without Pronger, they have a great shot here with him. But, as we stated last time, the other Ducks players felt a need to step things up big-time last game. They won't necessarily feel the same here. Red Wings take the 3-2 lead here and we're getting a great price at just -135.
