This is the pivotal game in the series as it's locked 2-2. It's been a "home" series so far with San Jose taking the first two at home and losing the next two on the road. Now we're back to San Jose and I like 'em a lot here, especially coming off a high-scoring game 4. San Jose is now 19-5 this season off a game where 8+ goals were scored. They come back from those games and play more inspired defense while their offense continues to click. In the NHL, playoffs and regular season, teams off 2+ home wins facing a team off 2+ road losses are just 15-37 (29%) over the past five seasons. I don't see Edmonton winning three straight here - not in a game that San Jose knows it must win (at home). The Shark's offense has gone cold a bit but their defense remains strong. After allowing 6 goals, the most since January 28 for them, they will play much better defense and come away with the win.
