Game: Anaheim at Detroit (7:30 PM Eastern)

Detroit improved to 6-1 at home in the postseason with a game one win over the Ducks. They have outscored opponents 21-7 in those seven games. Anaheim is also a very tough team at home but on the road in the NHL it's tough. After that loss, the Ducks are just 3-2 on the road during the playoffs. As has been shown in dramatic fashion over the past few days, the Red Wings have the top home-ice advantage in the league. They are 35-13 overall including 17-4 vs. winning teams! Buffalo finds themselves down 0-2 and Detroit knows they have to win both of these (they were very pedestrian this season on the road). They need to win all of their home games. Anaheim is struggling offensively. They've scored just 2.5 per game in the playoffs and 2.0 per game over their last five. Not good when you consider that Detroit is allowing 1.5 per game in the playoffs and 1.2 per game over their last five! Can't fade the Wings - not at home.
