Game: Carolina at Montreal (7:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 stars on Carolina -109
After losing the first two games at home, Carolina has stormed back to win three straight including two games in Montreal. They look to close out the series tonight in Montreal and I think they do it. Carolina's defense is very consistent. They have given up 3.2 goals per game on average this season, 3.2 on the road, and 3.2 during the playoffs. If it were possible, they'd give up 3.2 tonight. Much more likely is 2 or 3 goals. I say it's two. After the first two rare games, they have allowed 1, 2 and 1. So, can they score 3 or more? Yes! They scored 5 in game two here in Montreal and they averaged 3.5 per game during the regular season. They converted 11.2% of shots on goal (compared to 9.9% for Montreal). The better team wins this series and I think it happens tonight.
