Today's NHL Hockey Picks:

Game: New York Rangers at New York Islanders (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on New York Rangers -110 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 2.7)

The New York Rangers have struggled for well over a month, but there are signs that they are coming alive. The Rangers have won two of their last three with the only loss an overtime verdict. The Islanders have not been playing well either having come out on the right side of just eight of their last 24. The Islanders have also managed just 7 goals in their last four games and are also just 20-41 after a win, and a woeful 13-40 vs. the Atlantic. Playing on the Island has always given the Rangers a spark, where they are 23-8-1 in their last 32 trips here. I'll go with the New York Rangers in this one.
