Premium Picks

We rate each pick 1 to 5 units with 5 being the strongest play (read about units).
Risk 1% of your bankroll per unit (never risk more than 5% of total bankroll on any pick).

Game: Montreal at Atlanta (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Game Total UNDER 6 -108 (risk 2 to win 1.9)

Montreal is heading in the wrong direction having lost three in a row and four of five. Atlanta is playing great defense (allowed two or fewer goals in each of their last four games). On the road this season, Montreal is 19-9 UNDER. They are also 11-2 UNDER on the road following a tough divisional game and 10-2 UNDER following two consecutive road games. The Candiens are also 11-1 UNDER on the road vs. poor defensive teams that allow 3+ goals per game. Atlanta, with their revived defense,  hasn't gone OVER in five games.

Game: Toronto at Ottawa (7:30 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Game Total UNDER 6.5 -108 (risk 2 to win 1.9)

Toronto's off a 3-0 win over Washington and the Maple Leafs are 12-4 UNDER the past two seasons following a low-scoring game like that. They are also 11-3 UNDER in their last 14 games this season vs. good offensive opponents (averaging 30+ shots on goal per game). Ottawa this season is 12-4 UNDER at home when facing a losing team. Toronto is 15-10 UNDER in division games while Ottawa also plays in lower-scoring affairs vs. division foes.

Game: Calgary at Nashville (8:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Game Total OVER 5.5 +115 (risk 2 to win 2.3)

Two of the last three games these teams played in eclipsed the 5 goal mark. The average total goals in those three was 8.7 goals. Calgary has been an OVER team on the road all season and they are 7-2 OVER in their last nine games, scoring like crazy. Nashville has also been going OVER lately (6-1 OVER in their last seven), scoring a lot and giving up a lot. This season Calgary is 15-5 OVER vs. teams that convert a lot of power play goals as does Nashville (17.7% overall and 20.2% at home).
