Premium Picks

We rate each pick 1 to 5 units with 5 being the strongest play (read about units).
Risk 1% of your bankroll per unit (never risk more than 5% of total bankroll on any pick).

Game: Philadelphia at Boston (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 5 units on Boston -169 (risk 5 to win 3)

Philadelphia is just 11-22 on the road, allowing 3.7 goals per game. After a short spark in mid February when the Flyers won three out of four, they have slipped back into horrible play losing five straight. They have allowed 5.2 goals per game over that stretch! Now they face a team with a winning home record that is playing very good. The Bruins have put up 3.8 goals per game over their last five games and brough their goals-allowed average down from 3.6 per game to 3.0. Philly is 6-23 vs. losing teams this season and 2-24 revenging two consecutive losses to an opponent. They are also 5-20 following three consecutive losses while Boston is 9-5 after a home loss. Boston rolls here.

Game: Dallas at Florida (7:30 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Florida +1.5 -235 (risk 2 to win 0.9)

This game should be low-scoring and we like Florida to keep it close. Florida's offense is great at home and is clicking right now. They should be able to get a couple of goals against the stout Dallas defense. Florida plays winning teams tough. They are 21-12 at home vs. winning teams the past two seasons (11-4 in second-half play). We'll take Florida +1.5 goals here.

Game: Anaheim at Los Angeles (10:30 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Anaheim -170 (risk 2 to win 1.2)

Anaheim has been destroying division opponents all season (16-8) while LA can't beat their division foes (7-17). Los Angeles' terrible defense gets worse against teams that know how to exploit it. The Kings give up 3.7 per game to division opponents. LA is 3-15 this season at home vs. winning teams and 2-12 at home vs. good goalies like Giguere that save 92%+ of shots on goal. LA has shown some life of late winning two of their last three including a 6-5 win over Colorado in their last game. But the Kings are 0-12 after winning two of their last three games this season, 3-17 this season after scoring 4+ goals and 1-10 the past two seasons after scorign 6 or more goals.
