Wow. Edmonton, after giving up three power play goals, scores shorthanded in overtime to extend the series. Bad for us as we were on Carolina but great for Hockey as NBC viewers were treated to an exciting finish. Now what? Does that give Edmonton new life or just a short reprive?

Game: Carolina at Edmonton (8:05 PM Eastern)

If you listened to the Edmonton players after game three, they have found new life. They outplayed Carolina and not only won in on the road but did it short handed. Edmonton is rejuvinated and Carolina, I think has to be slightly depressed. They have had their chances but can't finish thing. And, at home, with a chance to tie, I think Edmonton pulls it out. The crowd is going to be out of control and like I said, the Oilers are oozing with confidence and enthusiasm. Edmonton is now 19-7 this season at home as a small favorite (-100 to -150). These teams have traded wins for the past four games and tonight it's the Oilers turn. Edmonton to extend it to game seven.
