Carolina has won 9 of their last 10 playoff games at home and it looks like it will be 10 of 11 tonight as they hoist the Cup. Edmonton simply can't score right now and Carolina can. The Oilers know they are done now and I don't think they can muster enough here to win on the road. Consider that those 9 of 10 came because Carolina is playing great hockey. On the season they scored 3.7 per game at home. That has actualy dropped slightly in the playoffs but their defense has stepped up big-time. During the regular season they allowed 3 goals per game but during the playoffs they've dropped that to a stingy 2.3 and against the Oilers, 1.8 per game. That's championship defense. Edmonton looks spent as they have played like a #8 seed of late. Carolina takes this one down.
