After the game 3 win on Edmonton, we've won six of our last eight in NHL. Going into that game, I felt Edmonton could manage at least one victory. Can they do it again to even the series?

Game: Carolina at Edmonton (8:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 1 star on Edmonton -110

Questionable goal or not, Edmonton deserved game three. Jussi Makkanen should get the credit as he shut down Carolina, allowing just one goal and giving his team a shot. Edmonton can smell an even series now and this is yet another must win for them. They know they have to win ALL home games in this series to have a shot. They will again bust their butts to get the "W" here. The pressure is off a bit after winning last game and the loss of Roloson continues to fade in their memories. Both of these factors should result in a lose Edmonton team that might finally break out of their offensive slump. Carolina doesn't play great defense so it's surprising to me that Edmonton hasn't been able to score more. I think this is the game where they may finally rack up 4+ goals and I think they continue to play inspired defense knowing they can't lose this one. Oilers to win.
