We took a shot on Philly last night. They took the game to OT but couldn't close the deal. The Flyers held a 1-0 lead but gave it up with 3.7 seconds left in regulation. Talk about snake bit. Why back them again? Well, we think they should have won that game and this losing streak needs to come to an end sometime. The fact remains this team is 17-14 on the road and they play good defense. Buffalo's defense has been playing badly of late, giving up 17 goals in the last five games, allowing three teams to reach 4+. Road dogs that have lost 8+ of their last 10 games are 25-22 over the pats five years during the month of February. Buffalo has struggled vs. good goalies the pats two seasons (26-34 vs. goalies who save 91.5%+ of shots). Finally, Buffalo is coming off a loss and they are just 12-19 this season in that situation. We think Philadelphia has a decent shot at the win here. With their good defense, we also like the UNDER. The past three seasons, the Flyers are 31-18 UNDER on the road vs. losing teams and 11-2 UNDER on the road off three straight UNDERs. Buffalo is 10-1 UNDER this season coming off an OVER.

Toronto has won the last two games in this matchup and come in hot having won three of four. Ottawa's defense gives anyone a chance to beat them (they are allowing 3.0 per game at home). Toronto has a winning record vs. winning teams the past two seasons while Ottawa has underperformed vs. losing teams this season. This season, the Leafs are 18-8 UNDER on the road and 13-4 UNDER vs. teams that average 3+ goals per game. Ottawa is 24-13 UNDER vs. losing teamst eh past two seasons. Toronto is 11-4 UNDER on the road to a total of 6+ this season. We like Toronto and the UNDER here.
