Today's NHL Hockey Picks:

Game: Montreal at Vancouver (10:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Game Total UNDER 5.5 +110 (risk 2 to win 2.2)

These teams haven't met in over two years. The Canadiens probably wish it was longer as they haven't beaten the Canucks in 10 straight tries. With the way Montreal is playing, they are looking at that streak running to eleven. Their defense has been poor and their offense very weak too. The oddsmakers are telling us this game will end with six goals, which if you look at the numbers, seems about right. But, I like the value on the UNDER bet here, especially with +110 odds. When facing good passing teams (those averaging 5+ assists per game), the Canadiens are 14-7 UNDER this season. The past two seasons they are 17-8 UNDER at home vs. teams that average 3+ goals per game. I see this one coming in under the 5.5.
