Tonight we like the live dog in Pittsburgh as the Penguins roll into Hurricanes country. Pittsburgh comes into this game rolling at 15-7 SU over their last 22 games. The Penguins have had their struggles on the road recently, but have the slight edge over Carolina in goals scored, but the key here is that the 'Canes are allowing 3.17 goals per game while Pitt is allowing just 2.7. Pittsburgh lost to the Bruins last time out and after a loss the Penguins are 8-2. Carolina is coming off a win over Boston, but after a win the 'Canes are just 2-8. Value on the live dog tonight.
Game: Saint Louis at Colorado (9:00 PM Eastern)Pick: 2 units on Colorado -141 (moneyline) (risk 2 to win 1.4)
Colorado is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games when playing at home against St. Louis and we expect that trend to continue tonight as the Blues travel to battle the Avalanche. The Avs fell 2-1 to the Ducks last time out and are 6-4 when playing after a loss. St. Louis is also just 1-6 SU in its last seven road games and a meager 4-8-2 SU in its last 14 games when playing Colorado. Avs bury the Blues tonight at The Can.
