The Avalanche are vastly improved off of last year, especially at home. The biggest difference, especially of late, has been great goaltending and stellar play on the defensive end. The Avalanche have allowed just 7 goals in their last eight at home, working out to less than 1 goal per contest. The result has been 8 of the last 10 at home failing to reach the total. The Blues have struggled at home, but have been brilliant on the road. The Blues are getting great support behind the net as well, allowing just 6 goals in their last four on the road at 1.5 per game. The Blues have played 8-1-2 to the UNDER in their last 11 on the road vs. teams with a .600+ home winning percentage. These teams have also gone UNDER to a 15-5-1 mark in their last 21 meetings, including a 5-1-1 mark in their last seven at Colorado. I like this one to stay UNDER the total.
