That is in part due to the fact that the Oilers allow 3.2 goals per game on the season away from home. They are also 6-0 OVER this season coming off a road loss to a division rival and 11-4 OVER after a game in which they allowed 4+ goals. They are also 10-2 OVER following two straight losses this year.

Will St. Louis score here? Maybe not. They have lost four of their last five games, averaging just 2.0 goals per game. Detroit has won four of their last five, allowing an amazing 1.6 goals per game. Detroit can score but St. Louis allows just 2.4 goals per game vs. division foes this year. They are 8-2 UNDER in division games. The Blues are 11-4 UNDER this season vs. winning opponents. Over the past two seasons they are 8-1 UNDER on the road vs. the elite of the league (those outscoring opponents by 0.7+ goals per game). St. Louis' strategy against great teams is obvious. Detroit is 14-4 UNDER the past three seasons vs. good power play killing teams (allowing under 15% conversion).
