Hockey Pick - December 01, 2009
We went 2-3 last night and are back with one 4-unit pick tonight. Over the last five weeks, our NHL picks are hitting 62% (94-58) for +72 units.
Today's NHL Hockey Picks:
Game: Los Angeles at Anaheim (10:35 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Los Angeles +110 (moneyline) (risk 4 to win 4.4)
The Los Angeles Kings have fared well on the road where they have a winning mark on the season at 6-4-1, virtually equaling their home mark. Most teams have a dramatic falloff on the road, but that hasn't been the case for the Kings. Anaheim has had most of their games in the early going at home, but hasn’t taken advantage as they are just 8-7-1 on home ice. This will be their 17th home game to just nine on the road. These teams also post opposite records vs. the Pacific as the Kings are 5-1, while the Ducks are just 1-5. The Ducks are also just 3-12 when their opponents score two or less in their previous game, so they aren't keeping teams down, they are allowing them to get healthy! The Kings on the other hand, are making hay vs. losing teams at 4-0 in their last four, while the Ducks are just 2-6 in their last eight against a team with a winning record. The Kings are a live dog here, and I'll take them in this one.

The Bruins were dominating teams at home a year ago, but such is not the case this season at just 6-5-1. Last year they started 14-1-1 on home ice. They had scored 54 times through their first 12 home...
