Game: Colorado at Dallas (2:05 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 stars on Dallas -155
No big surprise that Dallas won game 4. Getting the fourth and deciding victory is going to be tough for the Avs. They rolled to a 3-0 start to the series but Dallas is too good, and has too much pride, to just roll over. Off that confidence building 4-1 win, the Stars return home where I think they get at least one more. They will be pumped and the arean will be rocking. They MUST win this game. While Colorado has played very well and wants this game, they know it isn't a must-win. Dallas finally played decent defense in game three and if they can do that again, they should win on emotion alone.
Game: Philadelphia at Buffalo (2:05 PM Eastern) Pick: 5 stars on Buffalo -172
After winning the first two games here in Buffalo by a combined score of 11-4, the Sabres lost two on the road in Philly. Now that they are back at home, Buffalo looks to take the all-imporant fifth game to go up 3-2. Buffalo lost the last game in close fashion, 4-5. It was very uncharacteristic for them to allow 5 goals. This season they are 10-3 following games in which they allowed 5+ goals. The Sabres love playing at home. They are 29-14 at home where they won by an average score 3.8 to 2.7! Despite the two losses, they are averaging 4.2 goals per game and allowing just 2.6 over their last five games. Philadelphia got the two wins but they are allowing 3.6 goals per game over their last five games and 3.2 on the year. Buffalo's defense is much better and at home their offense is nearly unstoppable. I see nothing trending in the opposite direction. Home team heere big.
Game: Montreal at Carolina (7:35 PM Eastern) Pick: 1 star on Carolina -179
What a comeback. After dropping the first two games and allowing six goals in each, the Hurricanes have stormed back with two wins to tie up the series. They now return home and I think they don't look back from here. Carolina is 24-10 on the season following two straight wins and they are 42-16 as a favorite. They scored 3.7 goals per game on the season at home. Montreal allowed 3.2 per game on the road. Carolina will put forth enough defenisve effort here to get the win. Lean on Carolina.

| How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
