darrell,

1-1 last night losing a heart breaker in Ottawa and New Jersey. Ottawa was on fire late in the third and peppered Broduer in the first overtime but in the end we came up short. We have two picks tonight. Good Luck.

Premium Picks

We rate each pick 1 to 5 units with 5 being the strongest play (read about units).
Risk 1% of your bankroll per unit (never risk more than 5% of total bankroll on any pick).

Game: Buffalo at New York (2:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on New York -120 (risk 4 to win 3.3)

The Rangers have been waiting to get home to play Buffalo. Stealing one game in Buffalo would of been nice but they fell short. The Rangers haven't lost in their last 5 games at home. Things won't be much different in this one. Keep in mind the Rangers have had some dominating wins since February at home. They beat Montreal 4-0, Boston 7-0 and Atlanta 7-0. So this home ice advantage is one the Rangers enjoy and dominate. In addition the Rangers weren't dominated in game 2 at Buffalo. Let's remember they were tied in the third period and led for most of the game 2-1 until the third period. The Rangers know what has to be done today and will come out strong. Take New York over Buffalo.

Game: Anaheim at Vancouver (8:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Anaheim -140 (risk 2 to win 1.4)

Anaheim lost a game in the series!? Ya they lost alright. The Ducks simply played horrible on Friday night. Check out some of these stats comparisons from Game 1 on Wednesday night to Game 2 on Friday night. In game 1 Anaheim out shot Vancouver 37-27. Anaheim won 32 face offs compared to Vancouver's 25. In game 2 Anaheim was out shot 49 to 44 and won only 43 face offs compared to Vancouver's 49. Anaheim will not continue to let Vancouver stick around in games, they are a better face off team and have more offensive power. Anaheim will bounce back tonight and take the lead in the series. Take Anaheim over Vancouver in game 3.
