We added another winning night as we pulled in over two units of profit. Last night makred our sixth winning NHL night out of the last eight.

Today we hit the ice with two premium picks including a 5-unit play from the Detroit vs. Phoenix clash.

Today's NHL Hockey Picks:

Game: Detroit at Phoenix (9:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 5 units on Detroit -120 (moneyline) (risk 5 to win 4.2)

The Phoenix Coyotes knotted the series at three games apiece with a huge 5-2 win in Detroit. This has certainly been a visitor’s series with the travelling team taking four of the six games, and I expect that to become five tonight. The Red Wings have the pedigree to get it done here. They have come up big after a loss of 3 goals or more to follow by going 20-6-2. They are also 51-20-2 after allowing 5 goals or more. Phoenix has a poor track record in the quarterfinals, as they are a dismal 5-14. The Red Wings have a great track record in Phoenix, having gone 15-6-3 over the last 22. Detroit gets this one.

Many would expect a series tied at three games apiece would simply mean that this one will be close, but I'm not in that camp. The last five meetings in this series have all been decided by 2 goals or more. The Red Wings are tough in this situation at 51-20-2 after allowing 5+ goals, and 20-6-2 after a loss of 3+, and have dominated in Phoenix at 15-6-3. The Coyotes’ poor quarterfinals run of 5-14 in their last 19 bites them here. I’m taking Detroit on the puckline.
