Game: New York Rangers at Buffalo (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Buffalo -181 (risk 2 to win 1.1)
Buffalo took care of business in game one winning 5-2. They are doing in the playoffs what they did in the regular season - score at will. They are averaged 3.7 per game in the regular season and that's exactly what they have averaged so fare in six playoff games. They have scored 4+ goals in four of hte six games. Twelve of their eighteen players have scored a goal and 17 of them have registered at least one point. New York does not have the offense, when playing on the road, to keep up with the Buffalo juggernaut. Especially when you consider that the Sabres have held their playoff opponents to just 2.2 goals per game. New York is now 1-9 in their last ten on the road against good teams (outscoring opponents by 0.3+ goals per game). While New York may win a game or two this series, it likely won't be tonight. Buffalo again here.
Game: Vancouver at Anaheim (10:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 4 units on Anaheim -212 (risk 4 to win 1.9)
Vancouver is in deep trouble. They are still over-tired from a long and grueling round one series vs. Dallas. They face a focused and rested Ducks team that has held playoff opponents to jsut 1 goal in three of their six games thus far including three of the last four. The Ducks are 15-5 in their last 20 playoff games when leading a series and 28-16 vs. winning teams this season. Vancouver has no offense and they are going to again struggle to get on the board tonight.
