Nhl Picks Handicapping - April 25, 2009We claimed the winner last night on the ice with our lone pick on Washington. Today we are back on the NHL Playoffs with another pick. ![]() Today's NHL Hockey Picks: The Chicago Blackhawks and the Calgary Flames have turned a seven-game series into a best of three. They have each won twice on home ice, as it has been a home-ice series of winners. The Blackhawks come back home where they have now won five of six, including a pair of 3-2 decisions to start this series. The Blackhawks hold an 18-10 edge in the six games, outscoring the opponent by 1.25 goals per game. The Flames have really struggled on the road as they are now just a miserable 2-11 in their last 13 and have been outscored by 53-25, or by an amazing 2.15 goals per game. It certainly doesn't help their cause that they are also 0-4 in their last four played in Chicago. I'll go with the theme of the series and back the home team Blackhawks here. ![]() NHL Hockey Picks Resources:
