The Colorado Avalanche are facing a game sixelimination, as they are down 3 games to 2 to the Sharks. It was not a good close to the season for the Avalanche who came out on the right side of just 3 of their last 13, and have tasted victory in this playoff series by virtue of two overtime wins. San Jose really tagged the Avalanche in game five by the count of 5-0, as the Avalanche were never really in the game. The Sharks are playing to a 38-16 mark in their last 54 on one day of rest, and a telltale sign for the Avalanche is the fact they have not bounced back from a big 3 goal or more loss where they are 0-5. I'll back San Jose to close this one out.

The Sharks have a 3-2 series lead and look to close the door on the Avalanche in Colorado. The Sharks have been at their best as a rested team, having gone 38-16 in their last 54 off a single day of rest. Colorado has really had their problems bouncing back from a big 3 goal or more loss, having lost five straight in this situation. The Sharks won for the 32nd time this season in game five by 2 goals or more, and I expect a similar result here and will go with San Jose on the puckline.
