Free Nhl Predictions - April 20, 2008
We went 2-1 last night for a push on units. Over the past week and a half we are hitting 67% for +16.7 units on our NHL picks.
Today's NHL Hockey Picks:
Game: Anaheim at Dallas (9:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Dallas -135 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 2.2)
Anaheim staved off elimination on Friday with a 5-2 win. Can they do it again? We don't think so. We've been on the Stars all series as they have surprised the Ducks. We think this series ends here. Yes, it's another must-win for Anaheim but it is also a must-win in the minds of the Stars. They don't want to relinquish the home ice advantage they worked so hard to take. They don't want to head back to Anaheim with the series on the line. They will bring their best effort here and as we have said all series, their best effort is better than Anaheim's. That win was just the second out of six tries for the Ducks in Dallas this season. Dallas scores 3.0 goals per game here at home while holding opponents to 2.3. Anaheim's offense will not produce 5 goals again as they average just 2.2 per game on the road this season. The Stars have won 13 of their last 21 vs. winning opponents and they are 24-12 this season revenging a loss. We'll take the Stars to close things out.
