Minnesota's loss on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive playoff defeat. They again played great defense but that's proving not to be enough with this offense. They spent time and energy after the loss arguing the validity of Dustin Penner's game one goal instead of owning up to the loss and talking about the need to improve their scoring. That's a very bad sign. Anaheim is now 19-5 this season as a home favorite of -200 or less and 17-4 at home vs. winning teams. They are also 12-4 in their last 16 games when playing from ahead in a playoff series. The Ducks are also now 13-3 at home vs. great defensive teams (those allowing under 2.5 goals per game). We look for the focused Ducks to take advantage of a Wild team that is focused on the wrong things and struggling to score.
