We went with the Stars in game one and they paid off at +150. We like them again at a similar line. Yes, it's a bold move but we like Dallas here for a lot of the same reasons. This team is more motivated than their opponent. They have a burning desire to atone for recent playoff exits. They are a team that can play very well on the road (23-19), and against good opponents (19-14 vs. winning teams including 11-6 in last 17). They are 14-9 vs. solid goalies and 7-2 on the road vs. weak offenses (teams averaging under 2.6 goals per game). They are hot (3.2 goals per game L5 vs. 2.2 allowed) and have played well vs. division opponents all season. Anaheim has an achilles heel - their weak offense. They are now averaging just 2.2 goals per game their last five games. Dallas is 9-2 on the road this season after scoring 4+ goals in their last game. We think they can do it again!
