darrell,
We went 3-4 yesterday as somehow both Ottawa and Detroit managed to lose as big favorites. We hit the 4-unit at least and stand at 16-8 over the past week and a half. Tonight we like two games.

We rate each pick 1 to 5 units with 5 being the strongest play (read about units).
Risk 1% of your bankroll per unit (never risk more than 5% of total bankroll on any pick).
Game: Atlanta at Carolina (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Carolina +110 (risk 2 to win 2.2)
Atlanta leads Tampa Bay by one point in the Southeast Division. While this is certainly an important game for the Thrashers, they may get caught looking ahead to the monsterous matchup with the Lightning tommorow. Carolina was eliminated from playoff contention after losing to Tampa Bay on Tuesday. They have only pride to play for now and we believe they will want to finish strong in front of the home crowd. In April, home teams that have lost 4+ of their last 6 games, at around even money to small favorite, are 32-8 over the past five seasons.
Game: Anaheim at Dallas (8:30 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Dallas -108 (risk 2 to win 1.9)
Anaheim looks to clinch the Pacific Division title with a win. If they don't get it here, they have a pretty easy game against Columbus coming up tomorrow. Dallas is now four points behind Anaheim and must win here to keep hopes alive of a Pacific Division title. So, Dallas needs this more. They are very tough at home. Both teams have great defenses but Dallas has the better offense right now. The Stars are 27-16 this season vs. winning teams including 13-7 in their last 20. They are also 23-8 this year vs. division foes. Finally, home favorites of -200 or less coming off a 1-goal loss facing a team off an OT loss are 43-7 (86%) the past five seasons!
