Today's NHL Hockey Picks:

Game: Los Angeles at Phoenix (10:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Phoenix -120 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 2.5)

The Phoenix Coyotes went through a horrible 21-game stretch that saw them go just 4-17. They have bounced back nicely as they have now won five of eight, and three of their last four. They have also won three in a row at home, and five of their last seven. The Kings are slumping down the stretch as they have now dropped five of their last six games. The offense is struggling in a big way, as they have produced just eight goals in their last six games. Their two-goal performance in their last game doesn't bode well for them here tonight either, as they are now 7-21 after scoring two goals or less in their previous game. The home team has dominated this series going 30-12-6 in the last 38 meetings, and the Kings are just 7-20-2 in their last 29 visits to the desert. Phoenix gets the call here.
