Winning Football Pick - August 06, 2007The 2007 NFL preseason kicks off on August 5th with the Hall of Fame Game. We don't have a pick in that game but we do have some great info to share with you. Below is our philosophy for betting the NFL preseason. We share our approach so you know where we'll be coming from over the next four weeks. We think the NFL preseason is a great betting opportunity. While there are no guarantees of course, we have usually been able to build a nice bankroll during the preseason the past few years. While many people don't bet the preseason, we think that's a mistake. Don't be fooled by thinking you can't handicap these games. Sure, stats don't really matter. But, there are lots of ways to get an edge on the bookmaker and cash in. Over the past five seasons (2002-2006), we have gone 57-38 (60%) with our preseason NFL picks, good for +26.3 units of profit.
