Today's NCAA Football Picks:

Game: Central Michigan at Ball State (Wednesday 11/18 8:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Game Total UNDER 50 -110 (risk 3 to win 2.7)

Central Michigan has a big date next week with Northern Illinois which could determine the team that plays Temple for the MAC Title. I wouldn't look for them to expend much energy here. Their offense has not been nearly the same on the road as it has at home. The Chip's have produced an amazing 52 points per game at home, but have been held to a much lower 20.5 average on the road. Ball State, after the best season in program history, has just one win to show for the season and has an offense that ranks in the bottom 12 of all NCAAF teams. The Cardinals, despite a poor offense, have managed to stay in most games with a defense that has held 7 of 10 teams in the 20s or less. The Chip's have played five of six to the UNDER on the road, while the Cardinals have played four of five to the UNDER at home. This one looks to be playing in the 40s at best, so I'm going with the UNDER here.
