Free College Football Predictions - November 12, 2008Last week we came very close to hitting with Stanford at +425 but Oregon scored with 6 seconds left to keep us from that win. We hit with Washington State and Texas Tech, but lost with Missouri and Washington - both of which looked very good until the waning moments. This week we'll start things off with one Wednesday night pick. Good luck to you! The senior-laden team has experienced numerous injuries and the offense has been sputtering all season, generating just 2.81 yards per carry running the ball. They have averaged only 233 ypg in their last four MAC outings, and although the Golden Flashes don't bring a big defense, that doesn't seem to matter. The Owl's just struggle to move the ball. Kent is basically a one-man show on offense, as QB Julian Edelman has accounted for 21 TDs in the air and over land combined. Stop or slow him, and the Kent offense is highly containable after that. The Temple defense is what keeps them in games, and I look for them to minimize the damage of Edelman, forcing someone else to beat them. Looking at the Kent offense, I'm not sure if their is anyone there that can. This is a perfect spot for an UNDER, as the Owls can't move the ball, but play solid defense, and that has resulted in 10 of their last 11 MAC games going UNDER the total. Kent has also played 11 of their last 16 home MAC contests UNDER as well. ![]() NCAA Football Picks Resources:
