Air Force saw its NCAA hopes go up in flames at the end of the season, but it hasn't caused them any reason to lie down in the NIT. They have picked up their game and are playing as they did before the end of the year. DePaul has played well, and won at Kansas State, but it took their best shooting performance of the year to do it. They hit 53% from the field, 47% from the arc, and 77% of their FT's. That will be a difficult task tonight, because at home Air Force has won 56 of their last 58, and have won by an average of 22.2-points per game (PPG), this year. Air Force allows just 38.8% shooting, and 31% from behind the arc, while connecting on 53% and 43% from three-point range. They can also close out games hitting 76% from the line. DePaul has forced just 13 TO's in the last two games combined, while Air Force commits just 10 a game. DePaul has gotten off to some horrid starts on the road, down 16 points at Notre Dame, 14 at Syracuse, and 11 points at West Virginia. Look for Air Force to come away with a double-digit win in this one.
