We split our picks 1-1 and return to the CBB floor today with three picks including two 4-unit plays. Over the last six weeks our college hoops picks are 118-94 for +62 units.

Today's NCAA Basketball Picks:
Game: Wisconsin at Purdue (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Wisconsin +9.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)
When you’re slated as a team that has the potential to cut down the nets at the end of the season, you’re going to have to pay the price to play on them. The Boilermakers are overpriced just about every time on the court, and are just 4-8 ATS in their last 12, with two of the covers by 1 and 2 points. The Badgers are 16-4 and can play, and this is a conference game and Wisconsin simply does not get blown out by anyone. Their last nine Big-10 losses have seen eight of them within 9 points, and I expect they will hang around in this one as well. I'll take the overlay here and back Wisconsin.
Game: Duquesne at Xavier (7:00 PM Eastern)Pick: 4 units on Xavier -11.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)
Xavier is 10-0 at home, but that is not surprising as they are 34-1 in their last 35 home games - in one of the toughest spots to play in the country. That includes being 4-1 as a favorite of 10-15. They lost at Duquesne in ‘06-‘07 and when they got them at home the following year, they crushed them by 27. Last year Duquesne got them again on the Duke's home court, and I expect this to be another statement game for Xavier. The Dukes are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 and are not performing up to expectations. As a favorite of 7-12.5, the Musketeers are 6-0-1 in their last seven. I'll go with Xavier in a comfortable home win.
Game: L A Lafayette at Arkansas State (8:05 PM Eastern)Pick: 3 units on L A Lafayette +2 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
You can't be misled by the Red Wolves’ 6-3 mark at home that is backed by two wins against non-Div-1 opponents plus Tennessee Martin who is 3-16, and Arkansas Little Rock who is 5-15. It doesn't get much easier than that. The Ragin’ Cajuns were accumulating losses by playing games over their head, and it is paying off as they have now won four of their last five vs. similar competition. The Red Wolves are burning the cash as a favorite at just 2-8 ATS as a chalk up to 6.5 in their last 10. They are not holding their home court very well either at just 4-10 ATS in their last 14. The Cajuns have also had their number taking home the cash in the last four. I'll go with LA Lafayette here.
