Today's NCAA Basketball Picks:

Game: Purdue at Wisconsin (9:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Game Total OVER 124.5 -110 (risk 2 to win 1.8)

The Badgers have long been known to be a methodical, defensive team that runs the clock and makes teams run their offense through most of it as well. The Boilermakers hung 70 points on the Badgers in their last Big-10 meeting. Wisconsin isn't the same team this year, and although they still have the defensive personality, the talent level isn't quite on the par with past teams. Already this season, two of the last three Big-10 teams have reached 70, and in their non-conference slate, so have three others. Purdue has toppled the 70-point mark 11 times already this season. This game is basically saying low 60s, so there is a lot of cushion for an OVER here. These teams have already played 9 of 13 conference games between them to the OVER. Purdue is also 7-0 on the road in their last seven as a dog. I like this one to go OVER the posted total.
